For sale we have a neat Tissot, 9ct gold watch from the late 1930s in an octagonal case. It has a complex and well-designed sector dial with matte and satin finishing. The Tissot signing is of Art Deco design with elongated T and is very aesthetically pleasing. It has beautiful thermally blued hands which shine in the light and catch the eye. The case is manufactured by Dennison and has hallmarking for 9ct gold from Birmingham assay office. It is a heavy and well-made case. It measures 30mm x 30mm with is neat, but the lug-to-lug measurement of 37.5mm adds to the presence on the wrist. Inside is the manual wind Tissot calibre 27 movement, with a jewel count of 15. It is keeping time to within +35 second a day.

Overall it is a very interesting and well-designed watch, with an excellent dial design and well-made 9ct gold Octagonal case.
