Here we have an uncommon 1980s Dunhill silver watch, with its silver integrated bracelet. It is of neat dress proportions measuring 33mm wide. The case consists of the smooth double stepped bezel with the glass with bevelled edge. The dial is a white gloss tone with the stylised Arabic numerals in black. It has neat black painted Breguet style hands. The crown has the knurled finish with the Sapphire cabochon to the tip. The integrated bracelet has a beaded effect to the rear, with the fine brushed Milanese finish to the top. Inside is the manual wind Dunhill C2244 (Peseux calibre 7001) which is keeping reliable time.

The dial is a simple, yet fun layout. It has the bright white base tone which has a gloss shine. It has the Italic stylised Arabic numerals which have a radial spread around the dial. The dial is signed with the ‘Dunhill’ name in the classic font below 12 O’clock. Neat Breguet style hands indicate the hours and minutes. They have a black painted finish which ties them in well with the hands.

The case is formed of Silver, which is chrome plated to the main body of the case to protect from tarnishing. It measures 33mm x 33mm to the head, with the bracelet having a width of 18mm. It is a neat, slim watch with a low profile of 6mm.

The bezel has the polished finish with the smooth double stepped design. It holds the original glass which has the flat top and bevelled finish to the sides. The front of the case snaps on, with the rear section having the integrated bracelet attached, with the solid case back. The sides of the case are flat with the same polished chrome finish. The crown is a lovely, eye-catching design to the left-hand side. It has the knurled, twisted finish and is set with the Sapphire cabochon to the tip. The rear of the case is signed ‘Swiss Chronometer Sterling Silver’ with the reference ‘C2224’. It has the Swiss hallmarking for silver, with the 925 scales mark and the duck. It has some pitting and marking to the chrome finish, with light scratching.

The integrated bracelet is sturdily soldered to the case. It is nice and flexible on the wrist and articulates well. It has the fine Milanese brushed finish to the top. The clasp locks over the two bars and snaps tightly into place. The rear has the beaded finish which is comfortable against the wrist. There are no tears etc to the bracelet.

The inside of the case is further signed with the Swiss hallmarking, with the Alfred Dunhill mark. The movement is marked as a Dunhill C2244, which is a Pesuex 7001 base calibre. It is a manually wound movement, with a jewel count of 17 and a frequency of 21,600 BPH. It is shock protected and is a reliable and high-grade movement. It’s keeping time to within +/- 30 seconds deviation a day, with an amplitude of 220 degrees.

This is a subtle yet impactful silver integrated piece, following the trends of the 1980s, by a powerhouse UK retailer, synonymous with luxury. An uncommon variation on the integrated bracelet, an enjoyable piece for any collection.
