For sale we have a good example of a 1993 Dunhill Centenary rectangular Art Deco style watch, in a large Stainless Steel case measuring 26mm x 36mm, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 42mm. 
 
Released in 1993, this Alfred Dunhill Centenary watch was one of six designes launched at the Basel Watch Fair to mark 100 years of Dunhill.
 
The beautiful dial is clearly inspired by the Art Deco period with its large and exaggerated design. It has a subtle linear, brushed satin finish and is a silver tone. It has a rectangular minute track with exaggerated Arabic numerals, with Dunhill signing. Protecting the dial is the curved crystal which has neatly bevelled edges.
 
It is no secret that we are great fans of Dunhill watches. They offer excellent quality watches, with unique designs, which are available for good prices in the second hand market.
 
The hands have an excellent thermally blued finish which contrasts nicely against the dial.
 
The case is large and rectangular, curing neatly to the wrists profile. It has a facetted bezel which falls away to flat case sides. The lugs are small and sharp, complimenting the curved design. The crown is original and in good condition with coin edge finish.
 
The case back is Stainless Steel with the original grained finish. It is held in place with four screws. It is signed with the reference is 114/14388 PVMM. 
 
Inside is an ETA 2660, with Dunhill signing. It has a jewel count of 17, with a frequency of 28,800 BPH. It is in good condition keeping excellent time, with a daily loss of 5 seconds.
 
The watch comes on its original Dunhill French made alligator strap, with signed stainless steel Dunhill buckle. 
 
It comes with its original Dunhill box and its un-signed guarantee certificate paper, information booklet, and stockists list.

Dial: 
The dial is in excellent original condition. It has a linear, brushed satin finish and is a silver tone. It is of art deco style with exaggerated Arabic numbers. It is signed Dunhill, Siwss.
 
Hands: 
The hands are original. They are in perfect condition with thermally blued finish.
 
Glass: 
The curved crystal is original and is in very good condition 
 
Crown: 
The crown is original and in good condition with coin edge finish.
 
Case:
The case is Stainless Steel and is in good original condition. It has a polished finish. It has some light surface scratches. 
 
Caseback:
The case back is Stainless Steel and is in very good condition. It has the original grained finish. There are some light scratches to the brushed finish. It is held in place with four screws. 
 
Strap:
The watch is on its original French made Dunhill Alligator strap, which is in excellent condition. It will fit up to a 8 inch wrist diameter. The buckle is stainless steel and is original, signed Dunhill.
 
Movement: 
The movement is an ETA 2660, with Dunhill signing. It has a jewel count of 17, with a frequency of 28,800 BPH and a power reserve of 45 hours. 
 
The service history is unknown, however the movement is in good condition keeping excellent time. It has a daily loss of -5 seconds, with an amplitude of 300 degrees and a beat error of 0.5 m/s.
