For sale we have a 1990s Tag Heuer Professional 1500 series. It has a 38mm Stainless Steel case, with two tone uni-directional rotating bezel. It has a screw down crown and is on its original two-tone bracelet. It has a patinated silver dial which has a pink tone. It has the original Tritium lume, with Mercedes style lumed hands. Inside it has a Tag Heuer 2.91 Quartz movement, which is working well.
The dial is a silver glitter tone, which has aged to an unusual pink tone in areas. It has the original hour markers, with the Tritium luminous paint. It has a date window at 3 O’clock, with the coloured Tag Heuer logo below 12 O’clock. It is signed “Professional”, “200m”.
The black tone Mercedes style hands are original, with the lollipop central second hand. They all have the original luminous paint.
The case measures 38mm, with a width of 40.5mm including crown. It has a good lug-to-lug measurement of 45mm which gives it presence. It is still a neat wear on the wrist with its 9.5mm case depth. It is Stainless Steel and has a satin finish which standouts out from the classic brushed or polished finishing. It has a uni-directional rotating bezel. There is some wear to the gold on the triangle markers on the bezel. It has the original lume pip. To the right it has the crown guard with the gold tone screw down crown. It has straight tapered lugs, with flat sides. To the rear is the screw back, which has the reference 955.713G and clear Tag Heuer logo. Inside is the Tag Heuer 2.91 movement, which is an ETA 955.412. It is a quartz movement, with 7 jewels and a quickset date. It is keeping accurate time, with a new battery.
It is presented on its original Tag Heuer 611/410 two-tone bracelet, which has dive extension. It has the signed Tag Heuer clasp. It is a very short bracelet, too tight for even a 7” wrist circumference, without the dive extension. To wear it, the dive extension will need to be used. It may be best to put it on a strap.
