Here we have a unisex 1990s Cartier Vermeil Ronde Vendome, equally at home on a gents or a ladies wrist. It has a 30mm silver gilt Vermeil case with the classic T bar lugs of the Vendome reference. To the right it has the original crown with the sapphire cabochon insert. It has a desirable black dial with roman numerals and signing in the silver frosted tone. The rear is signed with the Cartier name and hallmarking. Inside is the Cartier calibre 81 Quartz movement, which is functioning well with a new battery. It comes on a new Cartier leather strap with the original Cartier buckle.

The dial has the deep black lacquered finish. It is a luxurious mix with the black base tone and the frosted silver roman numerals. It has a classic railroad track with the Must De Cartier signing below 12. The sword style hands are simple and elegant, in a silver tone. They indicate just the hours and minutes.

The case measures 30mm x 30mm, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 37mm. It is a neatly proportioned unisex watch, which is a comfortable wear with the sophistication of the flexible T bar lug design and the slim depth, under 5mm. The case is Vermeil, which is silver gilt. There is a sterling silver base, with gold plating on top. To the right-hand side is the original crown with the iconic sapphire cabochon. The rear is a solid back, held in place with screws to the top and bottom. It is signed ‘Cartier Paris, 925, Quartz’. It is marked as ‘Argent, Plaque or G 20M, Swiss’. This describes the sterling silver composition with the 20 micron gold plating on top. It has the French hallmarking for Silver. It has the serial number to the bottom.

Inside is the Cartier calibre 81 Quartz movement. It is a 7-jewel movement which displays the hours and minutes. It has had a new battery fitted and is functioning well.

It comes on a new genuine leather Cartier leather strap, with the original Cartier gold plated buckle.

This is a classic design of Cartier which has a sleek black dial with lovely, frosted silver numerals and signing. The classic cabochon crown, neat case design and elegance make this universally recognisable as a lovely Cartier watch.
