For sale we have a classic Gents dress watch from the Omega Deville range, dating to 1991. It is the reference 196.2430. Although originally gents, this classic dress size of 33mm is perfectly at home on a lady’s wrist too. It is a thin, simple, and elegant watch, with polished stainless case and gold-plated bezel. The dial is a champagne tone with neat, applied baton markers and roman numerals, with date window at 3 O’clock. The dial is simply signed Omega Deville Swiss Made, with an inset section to the centre adding depth. To the right is the original signed Omega crown. To the rear is a clean brushed case back with Deville range motif to the centre. Inside is a replacement quartz movement as the original calibre is no longer available or reliable. It is working perfectly.
 
A slim and versatile dress watch, from a top brand, which has the dependability of a Quartz movement.

Dial: 
The dial is original and is in excellent original condition. There are no signs of ageing or corrosion.
 
Hands: 
The hands are original, in a gold tone with no signs of wear. 
 
Glass: 
The sapphire crystal is original and has no marking.
 
Crown: 
The gold-plated crown is original with Omega logo.
 
Case:
The case is Stainless Steel with gold plating to the bezel. It is in good overall condition with no visible wear to the plate. It has light surface scratching associated with ageing. It has its original polished finish.
 
Caseback:
The snap on back is Stainless Steel and is in good condition for the age. It has light surface scratching, with a brushed surface to the centre. The Deville engraving to the centre is clear, as is the serial number. There is a notch to the back where it has been opened. 
 
Strap: 
The watch comes on an Omega signed leather strap with Omega signed buckle. The strap has signs of ageing. 
 
Movement: 
Should be Omega 1430, which is an ETA 255.411. These are discontinued, it has been replaced with the new equivalent, an ETA e63.111
 
The movement is brand new and is keeping time and working as per specifications.
