Here we have a lovely example of a mid-noughties Oris Artelier Complication, day date moonphase. It is the reference 7554. It has a 38mm stainless steel case which has beautiful swooping dished sides. It has the buttons to the sides of the case for calendar and 24 hour adjustment. To the right is the well sized crown with the coin edge finish and Oris logo. The dial is a textured guilloche sunburst finish with is a luxurious touch. It has the outer 1/5th seconds track with the applied arrow hour markers. To the base are the luminous plots. At 12 O’clock is the moonphase window with the Oris signing below. The other 3 subdials for date, day and 24 hour hand are nicely balanced. The hands are of luminous Lance Alpha style.
The rear of the case has screws holding it in place. It has the details engraved around the outside with clear reference and serial number. There is an exhibition back which allows to the see the oris 581 (ETA 2671) calibre. It has the iconic Oris red rotor. It is in good condition and is keeping time to within 10 seconds a day. The watch is presented on its original Oris strap with steel signed Oris buckle.
Oris are well known for the big crown date pointer. This model dates from the mid 2000s and has a lovely moonphase triple date display, with the added benefit of the adjustable 24-hour GMT hand.
The model has continued in a more modern form as the ‘Artelier Complication’.
The Oris 581 is an ETA 2671 base movement. It is a 17-jewel automatic movement. It has a hi-beat rate of 28,800 BPH and hacking seconds. It displays the hours, minutes and seconds. The sub-dials display the moonphase, date, day and there is a 24-hour GMT sub-dial at 6 which is adjustable.
This is an excellent watch for the price point with a host of functions. A model which isn’t seen too often, don’t miss your chance to get this.
It is sold as the watch only, with no box or paperwork.

The dial is in very good condition with no obvious marking.

The hands are in very good condition.
Glass:
The sapphire crystal is original and is in excellent condition with no marks.
Crown:
The crown is in good condition with Oris signing. It has light scratching.
Bezel:
The bezel has the polished finish, which is original with some scratching.
Case:
The case is Stainless Steel and has the brushed finish to the tops of the lugs, with polished sides. It has scratching associated with light wear. Remains unpolished.
Caseback:
The case back is Stainless Steel and is in good condition with clear crystal window. It has some slightly deep marks with light scratches.
Strap:
The watch is on its original Oris leather strap. Some crazing to the finish. Original Oris buckle.
Movement:
