For sale is a 2006 41mm Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph. It has a matte black dial, black bezel insert and a stainless steel case with screw back crown and pusher locks. It is a professional 300m rated dive watch. It has the Helium escape valve the left hand side. It is the reference 178.0515. It is presented on its original and long, 1613/934 steel bracelet, which has divers extension.

To the rear is the screwback with Seahorse logo and wave engraving. It has the inner anti-magnetic movement cover, which protects the calibre 3301 movement. It is a chronograph movement with date function, which has been recently serviced. It is keeping time to within chronometer specifications. This is a watch only example with no box or paperwork.

The case is a classic and deep design, in line with robust modern divers watches. It has a 41mm width, which extends to 46mm with crown and pushers. It has a depth of 15mm due to its strong case back and bezel.

The bezel is good with black aluminium insert, with lume pip at 12 O’clock. It is a classic 60-minute countdown bezel. It has the scalloped bezel of the era, which has a horizontal brushing that catches the eye.

The main section of the case has brushed finishing to the sides with a polished outer section to the twisted lug design. The inner section of the lug is brushed which provides a nice contrast, reacting with the light. It has the crown guard to the right, with the chunky Omega screwdown crown. The pushers are polished, with locks to protect from pressing during professional use. To Helium escape valve is to the left-hand side. To the rear of the lug is the etched serial number 78XXXXXX, which dates it to 2006.

The screwback is tightly sealed and has been pressure tested. It has a brushed finish, with seahorse logo and engraved wave pattern. Inside it is signed with the reference 178.0515.

There is the original antimagnetic movement cover protecting the movement.

The calibre 3301 is inside, in good condition. It has a brushed finish to the rotor and bridges. It is an automatic column wheel chronograph, with date function, constant seconds, 60 second counter, 30-minute counter and 12-hour counter. It has a jewel count of 33 with a 55-hour power reserve. It operates at a hi-beat frequency of 28,800 BPH. It has been serviced and is working very well.

We like this model a lot and think it provides significant value for money, considering its design and column wheel chronograph movement too.
