This is not a carbon copy, but a fantastic example of the evolution of the model, with modern day design and technological advancements. It has the acrylic crystal which gives it a more vintage feel.
The dial has an intriguing textured design with the outer section slightly raised, as well as the circular centre. The hour markers and minute/seconds track sit on a subtly sunken level. The circular chapter has the square rounded corners extending beyond to follow the case shape. This section has a grained finish which catches the eye. The sub-dials are further sunken, with the matching square shape and rounded corners. The hour markers are applied in polished steel, with the bevelled centre. They have luminous to base which glows brightly. In-between are minute/second markers are elongated dash markers. The sub-dials have the white signing, with the dial at 9 O’clock displaying the 30-minute counter, the 12 hour counter at 6 and the constant seconds at 3 O’clock. The date window is at 6 O’clock which balances well. It is signed below 12 with the ‘Monaco’ model name and Tag Heuer logo.
