For sale we have a 2010s pre-owned example of a Georg Jensen Koppel 424 ladies watch. It is a black dial example, with a 28mm Stainless Steel case. Inside it has an ETA 902.002 quartz movement. It is a clean and classic Scandinavian design, in-fitting with the philosophy behind George Jensens work since the mid 20th century. This model originally retailed for £550 and is now discontinued. 
 
The case is a clean and angular design. It has a circular flat bezel, with flat sides and case back. The lugs are thin and straight, completing the flat design of the watch. It has a thin depth of 7.25mm. It measures 28mm wide, with a 34mm lug-to-lug length. It has a polished finish which has light scratching. The original crown is to the right, signed with the GJ initials. The case back is etched with the model details, which denotes this is the reference 424, designed by Henning Koppel.
 
The dial is very minimalistic with simple signing to the centre of its lacquered black finish. There are dot minute markers, with larger applied dot markers for the hours. The sword hands are clean, with white tone and sharp counterbalance, which creates a signature styling on Jensen watches.
 
The movement is a reliable Swiss Quartz calibre by ETA. The ETA 902.002 has a jewel count of 4 and is keeping good time, having had its battery replaced.
 
The watch is presented on a leather strap, with original steel Jensen buckle.

The dial is original and in perfect condition. The lacquer black finish is good, with clear signing. The white minute dots are clear, with applied dot hour markers. 
 
Hands: 
The hands are original, of sword style. They are in perfect condition. They are a white tone, with polished silver finish.
 
Glass: 
The glass is original, with one light mark to the centre. 
 
Crown:
The crown is original with Georg Jensen logo. It functions as it should.
 
Case:
The case is stainless steel and has quite a lot of light surface scratching associated with wear. It is free of any very deep scratches. 
 
Caseback:
The case back is Stainless Steel and is snap on. It has a lot of light surface scratching. The etched engraving is still clear with the model information. It closes tightly as it should. 
 
Strap: 
The watch is on a genuine leather strap. It has the original Steel Georg Jensen buckle.
 
Movement: 
The movement is an ETA 902.002. It is a Quartz movement, with a jewel count of 4. It is a reliable ETA movement. The movement has had a new battery fitted and is working well.
