HODINKEE’s second collaboration with Timex brought us the Timex Waterbury Diver. 
It is a 40mm diver-style tool watch in a brushed Stainless-Steel case, with an automatic Miyota 8215 movement. It has a textured explorer style black dial with luminous hour markers coated with super-luminova. The hands are of a classic luminous baton style with the bevelled line to the centre. The central second hand is a fun pop of colour with the red painted finish. Above 6 it has the ‘Waterbury name’, with the subtle ‘Hodinkee’ co-signing in black above. 
 
The case measures 40mm x 13mm deep, which follows the classic skin-diver case designs of the 1960s with the brushed finishing. The crown at 3 O’clock is stamped with the vintage font Waterbury Clock Company logo. To the rear is the screw-down case back with the knurled outer finish and the brushed sunburst design to the face. It has the stainless uni-directional bezel with the black aluminium bezel insert with the knurled finish. 
 
The dial is protected by the mineral glass crystal. It is a black dial which offers a textured finish, with the Timex logo below 12. The rounded Arabic three, six and nine standout in design and sizing, whilst providing symmetry. It provides 100m water resistance. 
 
It comes on its original leather Timex strap with the signed Steel buckle. 
 
The watch comes complete with its full inner and outer box. 
 
This is a really good-looking watch which wears well. The build quality is very good for the price point, as is the inclusion of an automatic mechanical movement. It also has limited edition status.
